Autumn Is Upon Us

The sun has set on the final day of the 6-week holidays and, whether it affects you or not, there is no denying that there is a definite sense of “back to school” in the air.

Autumn, as for many, is my favourite time of year with its abundance of rich, earthy tones and chilly, sunny days with dark nights looming.

I realise that the darkness that the later months bring can be challenging for some of us and that’s where our practice comes in.

Autumn/Winter is a time to retreat- a time to nurture and nourish your mind, body and spirit. This can be done with food, self-care rituals and your yoga practice.
