About me
I have been drawn to Yoga ever since I can remember and have been doing my own practice since my late teens. I have been teaching since 2014 after training with The British Wheel of Yoga and gaining my Foundation in Yoga and 500 hours Teacher Training Diploma. Since then I have trained in many different styles including Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Pregnancy and Well Woman Yoga. My most recent training is to become a qualified Yoga Therapist, which is ongoing, to further support people on their individual journeys.
I have spent time in India in the birthplace of Yoga, Rishikesh, studying philosophy and the traditional approach to Hatha Yoga which is something I draw upon in my classes to make Yoga more accessible to everyone. One of my aims is to show that everyone can benefit from this ancient practice regardless of how much time you have and what your ability is.
Life is challenging from whatever perspective you’re coming from and having the tools to destress, ease out aches and pains and cultivate gratitude can allow you to live to your full potential and find inner happiness amongst the chaos that can be modern living for most of us.
The Yoga I offer in my classes will enable you to find happiness in the everyday from within by making you feel more comfortable in your physical body, giving you mental clarity and helping you to find emotional balance. I offer a very accessible approach to yoga both the physical practice and the philosophical side so you will always find a level that suits you.
